It doesn’t take very long for a person to learn there are several different kinds of counting systems contained within the Bible Timeline. There are both blessings and cursing. There are both mercies and judgments. There are different sized counts both Solar and Lunar. There is also the 7 day week count that is neither Solar nor Lunar. There are different sized weeks, one being just 7 regular days long and another being “weeks of years”, and on it goes. All are valid in their own right.
Perhaps one of the easiest ones to see is the main God given unit of 490 years consisting of 70 weeks of years. Just because some nation is granted a 490 year block of time doesn’t mean they will actually see that count come to the full. It may end in 414 years, or in 434 years, or some other figure. It all depends on their behavior. If their given time comes under judgment, all bills will be paid before anything else can happen. Time counts can be counted by using generations (father to son), or by measuring the length of various Kings actual reigns, etc. All are valid and all are being used. Time can be translated into lives, and lives can be translated into time. If peoples behavior, in midstream, changes for the worst, so does their time count.
If the reader of this work thinks that he or she can predict some coming future events actual timing – guess again. Consider Jonah with his prophesied 40 days before destruction. Something happened and Ninevah’s time was extended. That something was called “repentance”. Eventually Ninevah’s judgment did occur as was predicted. People fall away from a stated stand.
The United States needs to consider this fact. If we walk in the broad path it will lead us to destruction. There is accountability, and that accountability can be defined!
Jesus said, not even He knew the time of His own coming and kingdom. Only the Father knows! That should be a clue. No matter when a count starts, the wages are still a penny a day.
